Dan smokes a Perdomo Puro.
![]() Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto Initial Thoughts This appears to be a very nice, well made cigar. It smells slightly sweet with some earthy undertones. The cigar appears to be very well constructed, firm with no soft spots. The wrapper is slightly veiny. The Smoke I clip the cap, toast the foot, and take my first couple of puffs. I'm hit immediately with a little peppery taste, with some sweet and nutty undertones. LOTS of billowy white smoke is produced, and thus far, this is a very tasty, medium to full bodied cigar. At the 1/3rd point,, the flavor is a little stronger, and I'm noticing a little bit of an unevenness in the burn. The draw on this cigar is firm, but not difficult by any means.
At the 2/3rd point, the burn is definitely uneven, and I'm going to fix it. Flavor continues to be complex and full bodied. I've now finished the cigar. Other than the uneven burn, the cigar was a very enjoyable experience. Plenty of full bodied flavor.
The Rating
No. 1 : I smoked one of these a few days ago after a good suggestion from a guy at a cigar bar in Orlando and I have to say it was a great smoke, very rich and unique taste, I'll be buying more. |
