"Har thar Matey"...
Initial Thoughts So, THIS should be THE smoke for watching Pirates of the Carribean when it comes out in theaters. I know, ya can't smoke in theaters... but hey... its worth a thought at least. Visually, the cigar appears to be well constructed, some veininess in the wrapper. Physically, I didn't find any soft spots, and it seems to be a pretty solid little cigar. The cigar smells nice -- kind of earthy and sweet. The Smoke I clip the cap of the cigar, toast the foot, and take my first puff. WOW! Blow me down thar! A surprising amount of flavor... strong, peppery, somewhat earthy tasting, with some sweet undertones. Easy draw, and generous amounts of smokes are produced. After having smoked 1/3 of the stick, the flavor continues to remain very much on the high side of medium, in fact I'd definitely rate this as full bodied. Burn continues to be flawless. I've noticed the draw seems to be getting just a little tight. Nothing too bad, but definitely a noticeable change. At the 2/3 point, flavor has subsided a little (or perhaps my taste buds are just used to it). Still plenty of flavor, burn is flawless, and draw is good.
