WHERE IS EVERYONE SMOKING? - 2007/03/08 16:26 Hi Guys:

I live in the frozen tundra of Minneapolis, MN and it is rough trying to find a place to smoke with the smoking ban and the weather being so cold. I don't smoke in the house cause I want to stay married and keep the peace! She doesn't say much about my smoking, which is a good thing...

So, I smoke out on my patio under a canvas gazebo with a propane heater. When it was 20 below, I just put a couple of the sides of the gazebo on to block the wind.

Where does everyone smoke?

Re:WHERE IS EVERYONE SMOKING? - 2007/03/09 22:38 Its usually out in the backyard for me, in my "review chamber" (a.k.a. an old hottub ) Luckily, it doesnt get anywhere near as cold as you; I wonder if I could cut it - the heater idea sounds good!

Our local voters just enacted a smoking ban here too (Phoenix area) - booooo. I'm hoping the local brewpub where Dan and I hang out will continue to let us light up on the outside patio, but I'm not holding my breath Haven't been back there since the ban went into effect a few weeks ago.

Re:WHERE IS EVERYONE SMOKING? - 2007/03/10 05:50 Hi Raymond,
Welcome to RealFreakinCigarReviews . Like you and Ash, the bulk of my stogie enjoyment occurs on the back patio. Its quiet out there, and I can truly enjoy the experience. Since I live in Chandler, Az, I don't typically have to get suited up to go outside (shorts and a t-shirt weather for sure). Arizona just instituted a state wide smoking ban, so I'm pretty sure that public forums to light up and socialize are going to be a thing of the past in pretty short order.

Re:WHERE IS EVERYONE SMOKING? - 2010/10/23 21:13 Since this post, many more states have decidedly gone NO SMOKE. NJ is no exception. I just moved here, so I am finding the watering holes that were grandfathered in. I have a JR Cigar about 2 miles from my house and they have a full bar where smoking is allowed. Just moved here from Ohio and there were a few smoke shops that were grandfathered into the new laws but do not allow alcohol.
